(de)construct
(de)construct consists of a multiple time manipulation methods; slow-motion, fast-forward, and time-lapse for different purposes, communicating construction by nature and deconstruction by human beings.
The world is full of elementals enlightened by a ray of sunshine. Each one of them is always in motion without humans' recognition. Clouds keeps appearing on and off in the sky, waves are billowing and ebbing constantly, and fires are occurring somewhere in the world destroying and yielding lives at the time. Split screens represent coexistence of each element. Nothing can be removed and live in harmony.
It is almost impossible to capture the movements of clouds, tides, and fire by the naked eye, but when those motions are manipulated so that they become more visible, and they would raise humans' appreciation and perception towards them.
Meanwhile, human activities are nonstop as well. Architecture is always being built, billions of people around the world are commuting one place to another, quite possibly hectically. Human beings can be shockingly ignorant and selfish, only concentrating on their own activities without noticing how their selfishness is leading them to numerous of problems and what makes humans actually alive.
There are, fortunately, a lot of actions taken to solve the problems but no one really knows how effective those are. Some say it has come to the point that there is no going back and the environment is dying slowly but surely. The clock might have already started to count down.
By combining the act of construction and and deconstruction together will hopefully raise more awareness among people about what is going to happen to human race in the future.
